BUCCANEERS RELEASE 15 PLAYERS;ROSTER NOW DOWN TO 65

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today announced that they have released 15 players, cutting their roster down to 65 players, including three NFL Europe exemptions.

The players that were released are as follows:
·       QB Patrick Bonner
·       WR Eddie Conti
·       WR Anthony DiCosmo
·       S Charles Emanuel
·       TE Jason Freeman
·       LB Stan Gibbs
·       RB Eric Hickson
·       DE Ralph Hughes
·       P Aron Langley
·       WR Dillan Micus
·       DE/DT Bryant Mix
·       WR Shannon Myers
·       G Scott Oster
·       CB Alphonso Roundtree
·       FB Landon Smith

The three exemption players are S Cedric Donaldson, TE Cory Geason and WR Yo Murphy.

The Buccaneers wrap up their 1999 preseason campaign this Friday at Washington. Tampa Bay must trim its roster to a maximum of 53 players by 4 p.m. Sunday.
